Many of the people who use this site are older, are managing a health condition, or are reading it under pressure. It is designed accordingly.
What we have done
This website is built to aim at the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
- Readable type sizes with generous line spacing
- Colour contrast checked against AA thresholds
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Semantic headings and landmarks for screen readers
- Reduced-motion preferences respected
- Layouts that reflow cleanly on small screens and at high zoom
Known limitations
We are continuing to test this site with assistive technologies. Any known issues will be listed here as they are identified.
