Companionship work, done properly.
We are building a small team of dependable, observant Home Support & Companionship Assistants who take the work seriously and treat every home as someone's whole life.
What we offer
- A structured in-house induction covering safeguarding, confidentiality, lone working and home safety
- Ongoing training, supervision and spot checks
- Realistic rotas with travel time considered
- A named office contact and out-of-hours support
- Consistent clients, so you build real relationships
- Support to progress into senior and coordinating roles
What we look for
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- Patience, warmth and respect for privacy
- Clear written and spoken communication
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is an advantage
- Experience is welcome; the right attitude matters more
What the role is not
This is a non-regulated role. Our assistants provide companionship and practical help only — they do not carry out personal care, administer medicines, or undertake nursing or clinical tasks. If those are needed, they are provided by a regulated provider or health service and we work alongside them.
Safe recruitment, without exception.
Every applicant completes a structured interview, identity and right-to-work checks, an enhanced DBS check and reference checks before working unsupervised. This protects our clients and the people who work for us.
